Our vision is to change the collective capacity of Mississippi non-profits to gather and use information and increase public participation in the policy process. We intend to make a difference in the state by empowering non-profit organizations to impact Mississippi public policy.
Mississippi Education and Advocacy Non-Profit Support (MEANS) is a program designed to increase the capacity of non-profits and their organizations and grassroots networks to effectively advocate for their cause. MEANS will provide tangible skills that will enhance non-profits' abilities in the following areas:
Development and enhancement of advocacy infrastructure
Establishment and sustainability of knowledge and skills of advocacy priorities and opportunities
